History
Founded in 1995, the Firm quickly established a reputation for aggressive ethical trial advocacy. Over the years the Firm has been frequently retained to handle high profile, politically charged cases. High profile cases require media management, public relations skills, and the type of “on your feet” thinking the Firm adeptly provides. Hundreds of satisfied clients later, the Firm's reputation remains intact. The Firm's focus on heavy Construction Law cases began immediately and has been the main area of the Firm's client-base growth. Despite never advertising or marketing, the Firm's client list continues to increase through constant referrals from satisfied clients, impressed industry consultants, jurors, court reporters, and often former adverse parties and counsel.
Gladych Law, Inc.’s principal office is located in Newport Beach, California, while its attorneys handle cases throughout the State of California and Texas.

John A. Gladych
Born and raised in Chicago, Mr. Gladych benefits from a midwest work ethic and the disciplined guidance of a post-WWII Polish immigrant father (who overcame the odds to became an acclaimed architect), and a loving, service-driven, Irish-Catholic mother. While working with those firms Mr. Gladych handled all aspects of significant construction, RICO, E&O, subrogation, insurance bad faith, professional liability, wrongful death, personal injury, contribution, employment and international corporate dissolution cases. Mr. Gladych was fortunate enough to work closely under the supervision of several ABOTA Trial Lawyers of the Year. Mr. Gladych, a veteran of over 35 complex jury trials, including several in Federal Court, has successfully handled many significant construction-claim jury trials, and has tried hundreds of cases through private and public works arbitration.
Mr. Gladych has earned a reputation as an honest, effective, and tough negotiator. His proven ability to “take an opponent to the mat” has had an exponential effect on his ability to favorably settle many high exposure cases. He has negotiated over a dozen multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of clients. Among his high profile cases, Mr. Gladych has represented several contractors in a series of highly publicized freeway retrofit arising out of Caltrans’ multi-billion dollar earthquake retrofit project. To date, Mr. Gladych has recovered tens of millions of dollars from Caltrans, Owners, Sureties, and other government entities for impacted contractors on public and private projects.
